Open Source Activities for May 2025
The trixie hard freeze began on May 15, and most of my work last month focused on making sure the packages I help maintain work as expected in testing. I also made an upload of logcheck, which fixed several lingering issues and introduced a native systemd service definition.
Highlights
- Fixed out-of-the-box creation of lxc containers on loong64 (#1104545)
- Lots of rules updates for logcheck, plus a native systemd service definition
- OpenRCT2 v0.4.22 was uploaded to experimental
Debian packaging work
Updated the following packages in unstable

- Also prepared a bookworm-stable update (#1104691)

BTS activities
- Investigated lxc bug #1073815
- Closed lxc bug #1101358
- Reported QEMU NVME hotplug regression (#1104889)
- Triaged nlohmann-json3 regression (#1106430)
- Verified that the amdgpu issue I had previously reported is fixed in the latest 6.12 Linux tree
