Google doesn't like IPv6?
For the past week or so, when trying to search Google I’ve encountered the following message several times a day:
Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it’s really you sending the requests, and not a robot.
This has been occurring over multiple devices, and the common denominator has been that it only triggers on requests made via IPv6. If I force an IPv4 connection, then my searches go through just fine.
Kind of disappointing that Google has decided the use of IPv6 is sufficiently suspicious, but on the other hand at least I’m seeing less of Google’s AI-generated “results”?
