Annular eclipse
This weekend, an annular eclipse passed directly over Albuquerque, and it was quite a sight! The weather was beautiful, and there were only a few high, wispy clouds in the sky.
While I didn’t try to take any direct photos of the eclipse with my phone, NASA did have a nice live stream, which included views from Albuquerque starting about 1:05:00 in the video:
I did take some photos of the projection of the eclipse through the leaves of the trees in my backyard:
