A Decade of Portal 2
Hard to believe it’s been a full ten years since Portal 2 launched! It was one of a select number of items I’ve pre-ordered so I’d have it right on release day. I even had to (temporarily) cannibalize my server box to have enough oomph to play the game, as my main machine at the time was a nice ThinkPad laptop.
While Valve can’t count to three, there have been some good mods released in the time since then, most notably Portal Stories: Mel. There’s also a very promising one that’s set to launch tomorrow – Portal Reloaded. Both are free, and only require you to have Portal 2. You can bet I’ll be downloading Portal Reloaded and trying it out this coming week!
